Peer Mentoring, Practice Support & Student Sessions
So you’ve graduated, trained, or qualified... and now what?
You’ve done the coursework, finished the theory, and participated in experiential exercises with willing peers. But when it comes to stepping into the real world—translating all that knowledge into engaging, therapeutic, non-directive sessions or community workshops—it can feel like a massive jump.
If your placement felt overwhelming, or if you were left wondering how to actually set up a table, manage group dynamics, or structure a session that feels as good to facilitate as it does to attend... you are far from alone.
I had to learn all of this the hard way. There wasn’t a manual or a mentor showing me the ropes when I started out, so I learned by trying, failing, researching, adjusting, and trying again.
Today, I’ve built a practice and facilitation career I truly love, working with wonderful community organisations, local institutions, and public programs with deep trust and rapport. Now, I offer Peer Mentoring & Practice Support so you don't have to figure it all out in isolation.
My Areas of Practice & Experience
I bring nearly six years of hands-on experience as a transpersonal art therapist, community learning facilitator, and resident artist.
My specific background and expertise include:
Community & Public Activations: Running drop-in workshops, library programs, museum events, and relaxed social art groups where the focus is on connection and therapeutic atmosphere rather than technical art skills.
Youth & Nature-Based Work: Facilitating creative programs in youth art organisations and bush camp environments.
Disability & NDIS: Volunteer, placement, and paid work in the disability sector.
The Behind-the-Scenes Mechanics: Practical advice on setting up your online presence, website audits, social media promotion, and turning creative concepts into real, paid community offerings.
Please note: My work focuses specifically on general community populations, youth, and creative groups.
Ways We Can Work Together
Peer Mentoring
(1:1 Consultation for Qualified Peers & Facilitators)
If you’re looking to pick my brain, refine a workshop idea, or figure out how to get yourself set up in community spaces, you can book a 1:1 session with me.
What we can cover in a session:
Session & Activity Design: Adapting process-based art, slow stitching, or mixed media into age-appropriate therapeutic offerings.
Real-World Facilitation: Practical setup, managing materials, containment, and holding space for group dynamics or 1:1 sessions.
Community & Institutional Work: How to build rapport with local councils, libraries, and organisations, and pitch realistic, enjoyable activations.
Practice Setup & Visibility: Auditing your website/socials, refining your offering, and bridging the gap between training and business.
(Note: Peer mentoring is practical consulting based on my lived experience as a practitioner. It is not formal clinical supervision and does not count to supervision hours.)
Transpersonal Art Therapy for Students & Graduates
(Required Personal Therapy Hours)
For Students: If you are currently enrolled in an art therapy or counselling program and need to complete required personal therapy hours, you can book standard Transpersonal Art Therapy sessions directly in my calendar. I frequently work with College of Complementary Medicine (CCM) students. If you're with another provider, please check with your institution first to ensure these hours can be credited toward your course requirements.
For Graduates & Fellow Practitioners: If you’ve already graduated, you are so welcome to come see me for personal therapy, too. Sometimes it’s just really nice to work with someone in the same field who gets your world and understands what it takes to hold space for others.
(If you are booking personal therapy as a graduate or general client, please book via my main therapy page).
Ready to Connect?
