Joy isn’t just a fleeting burst of happiness—it’s a deep, sustaining energy that connects us to ourselves, others, and the present moment. When we cultivate joy, we build resilience, strengthen our well-being, and rediscover what truly lights us up.
Creativity is a powerful gateway to sustained joy. Through creative exploration—whether painting, drawing, writing, or making—our minds and hearts open to play, curiosity, and self-expression. It allows us to step outside routine thinking, release self-judgment, and embrace the process rather than the outcome.
Engaging in creative practices isn’t about producing perfect art; it’s about creating space to listen to yourself, honour your emotions, and find moments of wonder. When we make time for creativity, we invite joy to take root in our daily lives, nourishing us from the inside out.
How does Transpersonal Art Therapy help in recovering joy?
Creative acts create new pathways. Utilising therapeutic art making, creative expression combined with counselling in our sessions allows a space for freedom of expression, release and soothe stuck emotions. It has the capacity to reveal different versions of yourself that we never could have imagined before and move you towards a newer version of yourself.
As a Transpersonal Art Therapist I support and guide you to create a bridge between their inner and outer world through creativity and mind-body practices. You are invited access and draw on your own wisdom, build inner resources and reconnect to intuition. You are the expert on you and my role is to walk beside you as you explore your landscape.
I am trained in holistic and person-centered counselling. I offer a space where you can explore personal issues through creative methods to help you see issues from different perspectives, and express yourself more freely without being limited to only words.
This work is gentle, slow and beautiful. It is suited to people who have tried talk therapy but feel limited by expressing verbally.

All Transpersonal Art Therapy & Counselling sessions are conducted online via zoom. This means I can to work with individuals worldwide.
Initial Appointment (90 minutes): $150 AUD
A longer session to discuss your needs, goals, and begin your art therapy journey.Standard Session (60 minutes): $120 AUD

How to get started

Let’s chat! I’m sure you have questions and I am excited to meet you and find out what attracts you to 1:1 Transpersonal Art Therapy sessions.
✔ Book an Inital Appointment
After the call I’ll send you information to book your first session. You will need to choose a time from my online calendar or request a time. I’ll send you a link to secure intake form to be complete before your first session. That form will also provide you with payment options.
✔ Attend your first session
Initial appointments are longer session to accomodate establishing the therapeutic space; getting to know you and your goals on a deeper level and creative expression. This is your space and time that I hold gently and compassionately. Please be aware I have a 24 hour cancellation policy which applies to any sessions I offer. Full payment is required for late cancellations or missed session.

I’ll always make space in our sessions for you to schedule your next appointment it you wish. There is no pressure to do this; it just tends to be easier for some people as my online calendar has limited timeslots.

The word Transpersonal means Beyond the Persona.
We look behind our everyday experiences, behind our roles that often restrict our understanding of identity. We open up to the gifts of the unconscious to mind that can not be accessed through ordinary states of consciousness.
We can access our unconscious mind through engaging creative expression, guided meditation, movement, play, dance, poetry, metaphor, ritual and story. These engagements allow us to turn down our logical mind and tune into our emotional self; creating an opportunity for the unknown to become conscious. In this way we allow for a rebalancing and centering of self.

Each session will be different for each individual. The general structure for an Art Therapy sessions:
Check-in with how you are doing and discussion on an area or issue you would like to explore.
Creative exploration/process to help explore and bring forth the presenting issue.
Unpacking what you have discovered through gentle inquiry and curiosity.
Reflection on experience and plans for next session and homework.

For your session, I encourage you to gather a small selection of art supplies that feel accessible, enjoyable or that you are curious about trying. Here are some ideas:
Art Journal: A4 - A3 size art journal or scrapbook to contain and store your artworks.
Mark Making tools: Pens, coloured pencils, crayons, oil/soft pastels, watercolour paint & brushes, magazines for collage.
Tools: scissors, glue, sticky tape.

No. It’s a common misconception that you need to be an artist to do art therapy. This is not the case, everyone is creative if they have space, time and an invitation to explore freely. If you are feeling unsure how to get started in your art making I have skills and training to support in finding your unique way of expressing.

*My services do not attract Medicare or Insurance rebates.

Full payment within 24 hours of completion of our session.
I request credit card/debit card to be stored on file, this information is collected via an intake form. I can offer a bank deposit option too. Payment is processed after the session. I use a CRM service that is HIPAA compliant with bank grade level security and any data collected is stored via servers located in Australia.
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy for all of my services and offerings. For cancellations made under 24 hours notice you will pay the full session fee amount. Unpaid sessions will result in suspension of any scheduled sessions until payment is made.

Yes! My insurance covers working with individuals and groups worldwide, including USA.
