Transpersonal Art Therapy & Holistic Counselling
Holistic therapy for the whole person.
For those who are sick of trying to fit into moulds and ready to awaken their own inner caretaker.
Art is not the point. You are.
Standing at the doorway
"But I’m not an artist."
If that’s your first thought, you aren't alone. When you’ve learned to navigate life through performance, intellect, or trying to fit where you don't belong, being asked to express yourself freely can feel daunting.
That thought isn't a wall keeping you out—it's the doorway into you.
You don't need artistic skill, and you don't need to produce anything "good." We don't use platitudes like "everyone is creative." Instead, we create a pressure-free space where you don't have to fix yourself, prove anything, or perform.
You are not a self-improvement project.
Most people reach out when they are exhausted from trying to logic, analyze, or diagnose their way through life.
You are not a list of symptoms, and your inner world is not a puzzle to be solved. It’s an unlimited terrain.
Transpersonal art therapy offers a gentle pause—a way to disarm the ego’s need to control everything and gently stir your inner caretaker back into being.
Why creative expression works
We are shaped long before we have the language or logic to explain our formative experiences.
When words hit a limit, non-verbal exploration—colour, texture, movement, imagery, and imagination—allows the implicit, felt parts of you to speak.
The art is not the point. You are.
Art is a vehicle, not a destination: It gives you space to be in process, unpeeling layers without needing to present anything to the world.
No skill required: You don't need to make "good art." You just need time, space, and a safe container to be with your own experience.
How we work together
As your therapist, I don't stand over you with a clipboard or an agenda. I walk alongside you, holding the light so you can safely explore your inner landscape and find your own way forward.
Our sessions draw on a gentle mix of:
Imagination-Based Explorations: daydreaming into images, symbol work, and guided visualisation to let your unconscious speak in its natural language.
Creative Expression: simple marks, colour, shape, and texture made without a plan.
Grounded Conversation: integrating what comes up so you feel rooted, clear, and authentic in your everyday life.

Choosing a therapist is a big step. It’s an investment of your time, energy, and trust—and finding the right person to share your story with matters.
You don't need to have your goals mapped out or know exactly what to say right now. Feel free to use the form below to ask a question, share a bit about what you're navigating, or arrange a low-pressure discovery call so we can connect first and see if we're a good fit.

Transpersonal means "beyond the persona"—beyond the everyday roles and identities that limit how we see ourselves.
In transpersonal art therapy, we explore what's beneath the surface: the unconscious patterns, the parts of you that have been hidden or repressed, the wisdom that can't be accessed through ordinary thinking alone.
We use creative expression, guided meditation, movement, play, poetry, and storytelling to quiet the logical mind and tune into your emotional and intuitive self. This creates space for the unknown to become conscious—for reconnection, insight, and transformation.

Not at all. You don't need any artistic skill or experience. The art isn't the point. Expression is. If you feel self-conscious about making art, that's completely normal and something we can work with together. The art is just a vehicle for what surfaces through it.

A small selection of whatever feels accessible or interesting to you. An art journal, some mark making tools (pens, pencils, pastels, watercolour), scissors and glue if you'd like to collage. Nothing special required.
