Online Workshops
I'm taking a pause from online workshops right now, brewing up a storm of new ideas and working within my current capacity.
When new workshops are announced you'll find them first on Eventbrite and in the newsletter.

Workshops for Organisations & Community
There's something that happens when people make things together. Guards come down. Strangers start talking. People surprise themselves.
I work with libraries, galleries, museums, universities and community organisations to bring creative workshops that connect people and leave them with something they actually made.
If you're building something that genuinely brings people together and you'd like to talk about what's possible, get in touch.

Benefits of art as therapy workshops
Self-Discovery and Personal Growth: Through creative exploration, participants can gain new insights into themselves, their emotions, and their thought processes.
Mindfulness and Presence: Art therapy encourages participants to focus on the present moment, which can be a powerful way to reduce anxiety and cultivate mindfulness.
Connection to Others: In a group setting, people bond over shared creative activities, creating a sense of community and reducing feelings of isolation.
Development of Fine Motor Skills: Engaging in creative activities like painting, drawing, or sculpting can help improve dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Emotional Regulation: Art therapy offers a means to process emotions and express feelings that may otherwise be hard to articulate, leading to better emotional management.
Improved Cognitive Function: Engaging in creative activities stimulates the brain, which can enhance cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, and problem-solving skills.
Resilience Building: Art can be a therapeutic tool to cope with challenges and develop a sense of resilience, especially in difficult situations.
Fun and Joy: Engaging in creative activities can be playful and fun, which helps people reconnect with a sense of joy and curiosity.
